Tom joined AKT3 Company as one of the founding partners in 2004. Before joining AKT3, he had worked in partnership with Andy Ratcliffe (Electronic Theater Controls and Union Connector Representative for the Mid Atlantic). 

He began working in the industry for Barbizon Capitol in the Sales that then Systems’ Division starting in 1995. Tom has been involved in theater, studio, and live event production work for over 35 years, working as a Lighting designer, Set designer and Technical director. He is a 1988 Graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and after his military service he returned to Northern Virginia.
