We are very excited to announce the hiring of Kevin Curry as
Project Coordinator! Kevin will provide project support for AKT3’s
sales team, covering the Northern VA territory.
AKT3 is ecstatic to have Kevin on board and we believe his
exceptional knowledge and many years of experience in the
theatrical industry will be of great value to our team!
Who is Kevin Curry?...
Kevin has 40 years of experience working in the
Information Technology Industry. He recently retired from
The Boeing Company, after serving 23 years, where he had
designed, and project managed over 400,000 sq. ft. of
computer room, and IT spaces. Kevin also has many years of
experience in the theater industry and worked on nearly
400 community and profession shows as either a stage hand,
light designer or Technical Director.
Kevin designed the Corpus Christie Elementary School Theater
space, and the state of the art, Bishop Ireton High School Whaley
Auditorium. After it’s opening in 1998, Kevin was asked to come
teach stage crafts at Bishop Ireton. He has been the school’s
Technical Director and part-time teacher for the last 18 years.
He was responsible for maintaining the auditorium, and a teaching
program that covers sets, lights, sound, and special effects. Kevin
and his students have managed numerous professional events at the
school to include, Taylor Swift, and annual magic show that
included top magicians from Las Vegas, and most local
community performing groups!
